What is the old name of Shillong?

Shillong is a hill station in the northeastern part of India and the capital of Meghalaya, which means “The Abode of Clouds” and is one of the smallest states in India. “Yeddo” was the old name of the present day Shillong, which was later changed to new name after a name of a peak of the same.

  1. I am extremely inspired along with your writing talents and also with the structure in your blog.
Is that this a paid subject matter or did you customize it your
self? Either way keep up the nice high quality writing,
it’s rare to look a nice blog like this one these days.

  3. I know this if off topic but I’m looking into starting my own blog and was wondering what all is required to get set up? I’m assuming having a blog like yours would cost a pretty penny? I’m not very internet savvy so I’m not 100 certain. Any recommendations or advice would be greatly appreciated. Many thanks
