Assam Tea Festival

A fusion of tea, music and enjoyment, the Tea Festival is a popular festival of Assam. It is celebrated in Jorhat and is hosted by Assam Tourism. Assam is the largest tea producing state in India and is famous for its tea all over the world. The festival is held in November every year. Participating in this festival is a great experience. You get to taste different kinds of tea under one roof. The festival offered several pleasing opportunities: a journey through the tea gardens, a visit to the Golf course, jungle safaris, angling, river rafting and romantic River Cruises.
